The Environmental research center is designed to follow the natural contours of the mountain, with its form emerging from the folding of space along the terrain. A continuous roof integrates with the landscape and the structure adapts to the changing topography, creating fluid interior spaces that maintain a clear relationship with the land. The layout balances research and public engagement, ensuring smooth interaction between scholars and visitors.
Laboratories and studios provide dedicated workspaces, while the auditorium supports academic exchange. Public areas, including a gallery and café, allow visitors to engage with ongoing research and exhibitions.
The design maintains a balance between openness and structure, come along with the environment while ensuring functionality for both researchers and the visitors.
